Weekend in Hickory and a half marathon. I think about a dozen charities were recipients of the funds raised because each mile was a different group. Each group went all out with themes, support & cheer squads. At the end of the race runners voted for their favorites & there was a trophy for the winners.
Rhododendron Festival 10K June 2024 – Bakersville Beautiful area, and a surprisingly flat run considering how far into the mountains we were. Weather was perfect. Started in town, out along a creek and then back in. We looped around so I got to see Chris at one point.
