Run an actual, live runway…. sure!
The airport was closed that morning for the race. Jerry and Nancy joined us – Jerry ran the 5K and I tackled the 10K.
Runways are not as flat as they look. With nothing along the way the distance is quite the optical contusion….the runway looks forever long and then boom, you are at the end. It was pretty cool seeing the big plane, markings and being out on the runway.
