Beautiful area out in the mountains. The course went along the Tennessee River Greenway so was flat. Cloudy morning but the rain held off for us and it was a pretty run along the river.
The whole weekend was just delightful. Franklin is a beautiful area with some great hikes and cute little museums. We are definitely going to be back.

Running the Vines May 2018 – Dobson Jon and Brooke met us for the weekend and we all walked the 5K together. Started at Shelton Vineyards out into the countryside & back. Gray day, but the rain held off for us. Enjoyed some of Shelton’s wines and tried a couple other vineyards in the area.
Ambulance Chase March 2018 – Oxford The ambulance started the race and stayed in front of the lead runner for the whole race.Turned out to be a beautiful 70 degree day in March.
July 4th 5K July 2018 – Kernersville Another close to home race. Quick drive over and back to knock off a patriotic 5K in Forsyth county.The 5K was the pre-show for the actual parade that day. People were already setting up for the parade so we had a lot of people cheering us on.
